With Irista , Canon entered the market of cloud storage providers earlier this month. It is meant for photos only. The free version offers 10 GB of memory. Sony has a similar offer with PlayMemories . In addition to photos, users can also save videos to Sony’s servers. However, only 5 GB are available without payment. Thus, both services lag significantly behind Yahoo’s image service Flickr, which supports photos and videos and includes a terabyte of storage without charge.
